There has often been the feeling in town that the residents elect people and then those people fail to represent the majority. Here is a place to get information, opinions on what is happening and perhaps a different perspective. Questioning officials actions or lack thereof keeps them accountable. Over time the residents of Owasco may finally have representation that looks out for the majority of the people, the environment and our resources.
What a refreshing letter from someone who would know the FACTS of the case. To Mr. Klink maybe YOU should FOIL for the transcript of the court proceedings and all the statements given. Then maybe, just maybe, you could write a factual letter. The time has come for Mr. Wilson to apologize and the Town can move forward.

On occasion there are posts that are opinions of the writer(s). If there needs to be a correction made or you have something you'd like to see appear post it in the comments. Boy, our town is in a lot of trouble. We have been let down from the top to the bottom. Between the Citizen and Syracuse.com I can't believe that
the County District Attorney has to write a letter telling us that
our Town Supervisor and Town board
are neglecting their elected duties. What's going on at Town hall?

it will give us a chance to pick up the rug and swept the dirt out from under it that the town board has swept under it. By far the biggest lump under this rug is Mike Wilson followed by the other town board three clods.

as to what the town crew will do until the elections. How many things will they screwed up.When they are backed into a corner an they have nothing to lose is when they become the most dangerous. Will they fraudulently, erase computers and passwords, hide documents and purge accounting records AGAIN?
Will (some) employees continue stealing: work and vacation time, gasoline, recycled metal, garbage bags, taking materials and equipment home, bulk water and assoiated monies, and unaccounted money taken in at the recycling center.
Who ever is running needs to start firing anyone caught or proved to be involved with illicit activities. I do not envy the job that must be done by a new supervisor.
