Kudos to The Citizen
Today the Citizen had an excellent Our View story on the lack of action by three Town Board members. Mr. Lattimore in particular since he has announced he is running for legislator. Why is it that every time he speaks he is saving the taxpayers $20,000.00? In no less than three articles since he was elected he is quoted as stating that amount. Oh, and we wouldn't want to kick a guy when he is down, but it is alright to kick the taxpayers who trusted him- right? The board is obligated to protect the people who voted them in office. Mr. Lattimore shows poor judgement and partisan decision making something that is certainly not what we need in a legislator. Mr. Lattimore should take note that just because Mr. Wilson plead and other charges are conditionally dismissed it does not mean that he didn't also commit those crimes. Were he truly innocent he would have gone to trial and proved such. Coupled with Mr. Lattimore's support of unionizing a supervisory position and creating a position for a highway department worker who was charged with aggravated DWI one must ask if he truly wants to represent and work in the best interests of the voters. All three board members and the voters should remember that Mr. Wilson has cost this town tens of thousands in fines and lost revenue for his mismanagement of the recycling center. Additionally, in all the time delay, he has added to his retirement fund, collected pay and benefits paid by the very people he admittedly defrauded. Take heed Owasco, real eyes, realize, real lies....

That crew is sooo washed up! I can't imagine anyone being so out of touch with reality that they( Klink,Wilson,Lattimore,Alberici)would actually think of running for any office in this town.What a joke they have become!
How will Shaw twist this when I go in and pay my water bill.He thinks he is funny and everyone agrees with him. I just want to get in and get out and not listen to klinks or his nonsense.Bring your dirty politics out of town hall.It is time to cleanse town hall.
I am not laughing at the joke they have become. It is these people who have made a living and increased pensions from governing the sheeple of Owasco.
One thing for sure the Owasco town board was warned that the friend and family plan was not the way to hire employees, or to run a town. they did not heed that warning
As voters, we sometimes practice a sadomasochist way of electing our
regulators. I wish only that in the future the Owasco taxpayers instead of just paying their taxes will pay attention.
Why has no one answered the question about why Wilsons wife is no longer the book keeper?? Maybe the informer could check into that...
Lattimores consider themselves the Kennedys of Auburn. IMO the Ted Kennedy branch! Terry thinks he can run for legislator now? The conservatives better think long and hard, understand he is 'courting' them... An endorsement would be a far worse farce than when they backed him for council. The guy is hardly conservative. I'll be the first in line to change parties.
Wilson's wife was probably following the adage of if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.
Town board meeting tonight. I wonder what spin Klink will put on things to the press. People should start going to the meetings and see what is going on.
Funny how Klink lets Wilson's wife quietly disappear....you would think they would have a higher standard for the employees than letting them rip the place off blind. Klink talks a good story but when faced with widespead theft he looks the other way and even defends them!! Doesn't Klink have an obligation to the tax payers? None of them(Klink,Alberici,Lattimore) will ever get my vote again!!
